Today, LKS2 enjoyed their Christmas lunch this afternoon!

Another great Christmas dinner by Aimee and her team.
Thoroughly enjoyed by all.
We have had so much fun this afternoon practising a range of PE skills. It was all christmas themed and Santa even visited us!

Today we finished our stories on scratch and what an incredible job everyone has done. We watched our partners stories and offered some critique. We were then given time to improve our work using our partners thoughts! Finally, we shared our stories with the rest of the crew and offered praise, notices and wonders. MI really have done such a fantastic job during the ICT case study.

Today the children created their own Christmas tree biscuit. They spoke about how we wash our hands before baking to stop the spread of germs. We mixed, rolled and cut out our own trees before Mrs Rafter placed them in the hot oven.
Once they were cooled we were able to decorate them. We used lots of different sprinkles and even added stars to the top. They were very tasty!

LKS2 continued to work in their artwork, after practicing their Van Gogh skills yesterday. Today, we applied that to our watercolour paints.
Here are the results!

LKS2 have continued to work on their art work as they practice and take inspiration from Vincent Van Gogh’s Starry Night that will be used to show the negatives and positives of the Blitz.
Check out our practice attempts below!

Next week the children will be performing their Christmas concerts for their parents/carers.
Due to fire regulations we will be allocating each child a maximum of two tickets for their performance.
Children will bring the tickets home for parents/carers.
PLEASE NOTE: You must bring your ticket with you for the performance.
Today we created the speech that will be part of our story. We then created our backdrops for each of our 6 scenes and added the characters. Finally, we started to add the speech for each scene.
