In Crew Gerrard, we’ve had another great day of learning. We have especially tried hard in our reading lesson, to really understand our text ‘Holes‘. It was difficult to choose the HoWL heroes for today, and they are:

We have had a brilliant day in Crew Wilson today.

Highlight of the Day:

We have continued with our Nativity Story writing in our Write Stuff lessons, and today we have had some super speedy writers! We have looked at our presentation today and some of the Crew stuck to their pledges to make their work beautiful, well done!

Howl Heroes:

Work Hard: Our Work Hard Howl goes to Keira-Leigh for writing a fantastic sentence in Write Stuff. When Keira-Leigh had to make some corrections she took it all the feedback on board and made a massive improvement to her work, well done!

Get Smart: Our Get Smart Howl goes to Bobby-J for persevering with his writing today and making his letters sit on the line and were all the same size, great work!

Be Kind: Our Be Kind Howl goes to Toby for bringing in some ‘Ryan’s World’ snow for his Crew to play with. Unfortunately our naughty Elves stole it in the night and buried each other in it, so hopefully they will give it back and we will be able play with it tomorrow!

Howl Average:

We are still on our way up, 3.385 (specific I know), I can definitely see the reward wheel in Crew Wilson’s future!!

Nursery Advent Calendar day 7 🎅 The countdown to Christmas is getting closer, the children are getting very excited. They enjoyed their Christmas dinner in the hall and they sat so beautiful. They all looked fantastic in their Christmas jumpers too! A very festive day had by all 🎄

My star moment today was seeing the children eat their Christmas dinner! It was lovely to see the children eat and enjoy themselves and have some Christmas spirit!! 🎅🎄😋

Tomorrow, AGAIN we need to make sure we are chatting less and concentrating more in all lessons, especially in the afternoon!

I could give Millie go smart hero most days, her work always look beautiful! and she continues to try really hard in all lessons!

Today has been super exciting because we have been able to wear our Christmas jumpers and we had our delicious Christmas dinner. We would like to thank Aimee and her team for delivering a beautiful meal as always.

Highlight of the day:

We have really enjoyed our afternoon in provision today and our Christmas dinner! We had lots of fun writing letters in the post office and posting them ✉📫✏ , telling stories in the imagination station  and the story station 📚📖 and drawing designs for sand candles in the creative station.

Our HOWL average was 3.3 today. What an amazing score Crew Welburn! 😊

Another busty day in Crew Longley, once we had put the classroom back together after Erick’s latest trick. We have been finishing our writing, completing our first expedition critique and working with Miss Shelley on our Bollywood and African dances.

We have also been clown away by the children’s maturity when dealing with crew issues and while trialing our new classroom jobs.

Our Hero today was Ruby. Myself and Miss Holdsworth were blown away by the independence, creativity and presentation shown in her independent write.

Woeful Wednesday! We had an amazing day of learning in Crew Elmer but lots of the children left upset as it was Miss Clarkes last day in Crew Elmer! 😥 We wish her all the best in the future and we are sure you will be an amazing teacher! ⭐

Star moment of the day: ⭐

This has got to be our Write Stuff lesson this morning! The children really enjoyed tasting melon, turkey and mince pies as part of the ‘tasting lens’ that we were writing through as part of our Santa letters to FS2. This allowed the children to do lots of great ‘chotting’ which resulted in some fab sentences! Watch this space for pictures of them tasting the different food items! 🎄🎅📝✏😋🍗🥧🍈
