Carcroft Staff Show Stewardship Of Our Local Spaces!

Today we worked as a crew to clean up our local spaces. We went to our local skate park, cleaned up the the rubbish and then handed what we had collected to the bin collection people. We enjoyed litter picking for 30 minutes and really gained some momentum. We found trolleys and returned them to the local Asda, bagged up rubbish safely and engaged with local residents to spread our message of community. Here we are working Hard to Be Kind to Carcroft being stewards of our community as we go.

We Support Local Businesses and Nurture Reading For Pleasure in Carcroft!

Today, our staff crew went to the local book shop ‘Oak Tree Bookshop’ and bought book to support their fabulous work in our community. We then wrote a kind note inside and left it at the doctors for someone to discover, enjoy and share. We Cannot wait for someone to find the book and let us know how it made them feel. We hope they pay it forward and keep the kindness ripple going. At XP. we believe in sharing stories, what better way to do so than a book for a stranger kindness campaign.

Staff Crew Challenge – Reading for Pleasure

Today as part of our staff crew challenge, we were tasked to use a local business, buy and hide a story book in the community for someone to find. We chose to use Oak Tree Bookshop and found a lovely story for just 30p! We’ve hidden it somewhere in our local area for someone to find and take home!
