This week, our Year 4 pupils have been exploring the fascinating differences between their lives today and those in Roman times! They learned that while Romans traveled by horse and chariot and enjoyed simple meals like bread and olives, we now zip around in cars and indulge in a world of diverse cuisines. Entertainment has also evolved—from thrilling gladiator games to streaming movies and video games! Plus, communication has transformed dramatically; instead of sending messages via messengers, we now connect instantly through texts and social media. It’s incredible to see how far we’ve come and what we might miss most if we lived in the past!
